Green Alpha Investments to Explore “The AI Opportunity for Oncology”Featuring Global Health Expert, Dr. Derek Yach

Online Discussion with Q&A on Dec. 17th

For Immediate Release

Boulder, CO – Dec. 15 — Green Alpha Investments, a leading asset management firm committed to investing in sustainable, innovation-driven solutions, will host an investor webinar with global health expert Dr. Derek Yach in discussion with Green Alpha’s Garvin Jabusch and Erika Karp on Wednesday, December 17 at 11:00 AM ET.

“The AI Opportunity for Oncology,” will explore how artificial intelligence (AI) is rapidly transforming cancer care, from early detection to equitable access.

As global cancer incidence continues to rise, AI-powered breakthroughs in diagnostics, imaging, and personalized therapy offer the potential to dramatically accelerate improvements in outcomes — especially in under-resourced health systems. But it also raises urgent questions about privacy, ethics, accessibility, and global equity. Attendees will gain insights on what this means for global health and investment.

For investors and socially minded stakeholders, AI represents both an answer to a looming humanitarian crisis and the potential for long-term opportunity: companies at the intersection of AI, biotech, and oncology may drive the next frontier of sustainable innovation.”

“GAI is honored to host our esteemed colleague Derek Yach,” said Garvin Jabusch, the firm’s Chief Investment Officer. At Green Alpha, we believe innovation-driven companies tackling humanity’s biggest challenges are not just humanitarian imperatives, but also leading indicators of the Next Economy.”

“AI is not just a technological frontier — it is a bridge to equitable global health,” said Derek Yach, founder of Global Health Strategies, and a leader in health innovation. “When combined with political will and responsible deployment, AI could radically reshape cancer care worldwide.”

As noted in the firm’s recent commentary: When combined with next‑generation diagnostics and immunotherapies, AI-guided care strengthens the entire healthcare value chain—from discovery to real‑world outcomes.
